Let's make a star...

Welcome to this rather ambitious social experiment.

We are going to use the power of the internet to actually make a star and promote her to the world - just to show that social media, the internet and word of mouth are the most powerful tools today when it comes to media manipulation.

YOU - are in control and YOU will determine how we build this "new phenomenon".
(well not quite yet and it all depends on you).

So who is Ginny Vee?

Ginny is an Italian actress, singer and dancer that has had some limited success in Italy. But she has never made it big time, and is open to a very interesting new challenge.

Why have we selected her?

First and for most this is a huge risk for any artist. To have your image, direction, success determined by a manager or agent is one thing - as you have some (not much) control over what happens. However, agreeing to have your direction and "stardom" placed firmly into the hands of the public is quite a daunting risk - and well Ginny has the guts to try this social experiment with us.

We sought out hundreds of artists across Europe and very few agreed to do this experiment.

(So at least give her massive credit for having the guts to do this!)

We selected Ginny as she is in the right "Cross over" age where she can appeal to younger and older audiences (as we don't know who is going to gravitate towards her or the direction she will go).

Sexy - yes sex sells - just look at Miley Cyrus - this is a classic understanding that to a degree sex sells. So we have absolutely selected a "character" that is very sexy - and appealing. (We make no bones about it).

Talented - Sex sells to a degree but there must be talent behind it. We can't take a doll and just parade her around. And Ginny has a lot of talent - she is an accomplished singer that has done professional singing in Italy, and a recognized actress. She recently won the first prize for a web series "Revolution Club". 

Unknown - But it is hard to find a talented professional - that is also unknown enough to be willing to participate in such a crazy experiment.

Neutral Image - One of the keys for us selecting Ginny was to find a girl that is flexible in being able to create a variety of images. Ginny is Italian, speaks fluent English - but her ethnicity does not scream one type or another. She could be from UK, or Germany, or Spain - and for us this was vital as we want YOU to help determine her direction and for that she needs to be "neutral".

In the end we have selected someone to approach this project with the right attitude - and that will be vital in this long term project.
