Updates galore
So first and foremost we apologize that it's been soooo long since the last #astarmadebyyou update - but that has been because the entire A Star Made By You team has been so busy with Ginny Vee.

Firstly
We have spent the last month finishing the #vocals and the debut single from Ginny -
Titled Heaven n Back. The single has been #mixed and #mastered (by the famed ReferenceMastering Studios) thanks to Fabrizio De Carolis. The entire team is THRILLED with the result.

We also announced the Full "Heaven n Back" EP with the lineup of songs that will be released during 2014: Over the next month we will be working with
Next
(And this has been taking the most of our time) the #asatrmadebyyou team shot the #musicvideo for Heaven n Back. This was huge collaborative effort of the entire team: Director - Gianluca Della Monica, Cinematography - Max Palmieri, Make Up - Tamara Totti, Stylist - Xenia Cuprianova, Hair (Devil Hair). This was a major 1 day shoot at Saporiti Studios of Rome.
The video has just entered into the phase of post production and will be ready for the scheduled May 1st launch - so keep watching for previews and exclusive clips.
Sponsorships
The team has been working hard on gaining sponsorships for the project and we landed our first partner DRIVE GUM - caffein loaded chewing gum. Thanks to the Drive Gum team for their continued and valuable support.

Last month we ran our "Logo" competition for a designer to come up with the official Ginny Vee Brand logo. We scoured hundreds of entries and eventually chose this stunning logo by Perry Dezynez. #logo. It's beautifully crisp clear logo, simple, yet includes all the elements of Ginny and (note) the Star from A Star Made By You
Getting Social
This has been an extremely busy month for our social campaigns with Facebook. We were thrilled that we broke through 7500 Page likes and a huge boost in fan interaction. BUT it's not enough. We need each an every fan to share the page and help us to make #astarmadebyyou and #ginnyvee a breakthrough project.
We have also been boosting our campaigns on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Google+, Pinteretst and many other social sites-- BUT IT"S NOT ENOUGH so we need YOUR help to get more social sharing going on.
Distribution
Any key to the #musicindustry is to ensure you have full distribution. This month we founded the brand new record label "A Star Made By You" #astarmadebyyou #recordlabel - which went live on Friday. As an independent record label we want to do things VERY different. We are not interested in the normal distribution channels or record stores etc - we are going 100% digital. We are using the emerging services of Zimbalam and VEVO to get full global distribution of the music and videos. So keep watching as we announce availability on #itunes #googleplay #amazon
So again - we apologize for the delay in updating the blog, but as you can see we have been stretched to the limit with this ever growing project - which we think is coming along just great. BUT we need more help, more volunteers, more support, more sharing, more crowd managing. So do what you can to make your STAR the best they can be....
